About Jonathan
After graduating from Yale University in 2002, Jonathan taught English, history, Latin and ESL at the high school and middle school levels before starting his own company. Jonathan helped The New Visions Foundation create a new and improved writing curriculum for their high school students. He also taught at Crossroads and New Roads, and has run academic enrichment and after-school tutoring programs at both of those schools. Over the years, Jonathan has also managed the college counseling programs at several independent learning centers around Los Angeles, where he has overseen the college application process for hundreds of students.
While working for other tutoring and test preparation companies, Jonathan noticed that the focus was on business metrics rather than on serving students and parents. Determined to create a different kind of educational services company, Jonathan and his team of tutors focus on providing high quality instruction that is tailored to the individual needs of each student. Today, Jonathan and his team of tutors work extensively with high school and middle school students from all of the top private and public schools in Southern California, including:
Archer | Beverly Hills High | Buckley | Campbell Hall | Crossroads | Harvard-Westlake | Marlborough | Milken | Loyola High | Notre Dame | New Roads | Oakwood | LACES | Palisades Charter High | Palos Verdes Peninsula High| Pilgrim | Santa Monica High | Windward | Vistamar | Yavneh | AND MANY MORE
Since 2015, we have provided private, personalized online/remote academic tutoring, standardized test preparation and college admissions counseling to students and families outside of Southern California, primarily in the following areas:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley | Washington D.C. and the greater DMV area | Phoenix, Arizona | The Greater Boston Area | Philadelphia and The Lehigh Valley |

Testimonials
"I have received nothing but rave comments and reviews at the two schools I am associated with, Crossroads and New Roads. Jonathan is definitely at the top of my list of tutors to recommend. He is not only highly intelligent, but most importantly, he has the integrity, personality, and character that students are drawn to and want to emulate. We teach not only the subject but also who we are. There can be no one better than Jonathan for the important job of tutoring."
"Jonathan is a detail-oriented manager of all facets of learning, with outstanding, measurable results. My son has grown and developed under Jon's watchful and perceptive assessment, as Jon has provided ongoing solutions to his academic needs. I have been very pleased with the results."
"My son was completely disorganized when he started to work with Jon. He was barely keeping up in his classes and was extremely depressed. After working with Jon and his tutors for a year, my son went from getting Cs and Ds to As and Bs. More importantly, Jon helped my son develop a system for staying organized, taught him how to study for tests, manage his time, and write coherent essays. Jon and his tutors were life savers. Literally."
